Donald Zehner, Investigator

Donald Zehner joined the Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office in July of 2024. He has worked in Law Enforcement for over 30 years. Donald is married with four children.

Alissa Schmidt, Investigator

Alissa joined the Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office in January 2023.  Alissa’s responsibilities include preparing legal pleadings and administrative functions for Juvenile Delinquencies, Children Services Division, Civil matters, and other duties as assigned.  Alissa graduated from Tiffin University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice.  Alissa lives in Ashland with her husband, Chris and their 2 children.
